GC Construct were appointed by Southwark Council to deliver a comprehensive General Needs and Temporary Accommodation Voids Programme across the borough. The programme covers a wide range of planned refurbishments, compliance works and reinstatement of void properties to a lettable condition, supporting the council's housing service objectives.

The works are delivered across varied property types and conditions, ranging from minor repairs through to full refurbishments. The programme plays a key role in maximising rental income, reducing void turnaround times and ensuring homes are safe, compliant and fit for occupation.

GC Construct mobilised a dedicated project team to manage the volume and complexity of works, ensuring a structured and repeatable approach to surveys, programming and delivery. Strong coordination between trades, clear communication with housing officers and consistent quality control have been central to the successful delivery of the programme.
